Aims

Develop the leadership and collective power of women and girls worldwide to achieve justice, peace, health, human dignity, freedom and a sustainable environment for all people.

Contribution to UNESCO's programmes The WYWCA is a dependable organization whose geographical extension is passable and balanced. It takes part in the work of the Standing Committee on NGOs (workding groups) and of the collective consultation on youth. It generates its own activites in many developing coutries and in the C/5 priority fields (woemn, youth, Africa, LDCs). It has not, however, entered into relation with the Education Sector, nor has it regularly replied to the Director-General's consultations on the C/4 and C/5 documents. The WYWCA only partly meets the requirements for admission to formal relations.
