Contribution to UNESCO's programmes This organization, representing an important if somewhat unevenly established network throughout the world, maintains effective and valued relations with UNESCO. It did not fulfil its obligations under its former consultative status, but is active in the field and contributes to the implementation of UNESCO programme activities. The Federation could contribute usefully to setting up the youth exchange programmes advocated by UNESCO. It does not meet all the requirements for admission to formal relations. Its co-operation with UNESCO is operational in character.
