    Aims
    Collect, curate and share all information on genetic variation effecting human disease; encourage communication and collaboration so as to reduce the burden of genetic disease; establish and maintain the standards, systems and infrastructure necessary for the worldwide collection, curation and sharing of information across the genome.

    Promulgates the ethical, psychological and legal dimensions of variant centralization; documents genotype-phenotype correlations for interpretative purposes; creates processes for the submission of data; provides education on developments in curation and variant interpretation. Organizes summits, conferences, meetings and fora. Coordinates pilot studies; assists working groups.
